Our Name
Our organization's full business name (as registered in the Philippines Department of Trade and Industries) is Aikido Iloilo Martial Arts Training Center, and is commonly known as AIKIDO ILOILO.
Our adoption of the name AIKIDO ILOILO is based on the traditional Japanese method of naming a dojo or organization (i.e.: name of the discipline or school, then followed by the name of the place where it is prominently situated).
We have applied the necessary means to secure commercial and legal ownership of the name "AIKIDO ILOILO" by registering the business name with DTI, purchasing the domain www.aikidoiloilo.org and aikidoiloilo.com, and establishing the AIKIDO ILOILO Google Business Profile.
Disclaimer
Nonetheless, due to the commonness of the phrase, it is inevitable that "aikido iloilo" may have been mentioned in some contents in the web, including the below forum and blog, which have been inactive since 2006 and 2011, respectively:

It also appears that the abovementioned forum and blog are linked to the following e-mail and domain (both of which are inactive at the time of this writing):

Not to be Confused With
AIKIDO ILOILO must NOT be confused with "Aikido Institute of Iloilo" (sometimes mistakenly mentioned as "Aikido Iloilo Institute"), which is an entirely different organization.

Update on Notice of Non-Association
Attention to all 𝐀𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐨 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
To avoid any misunderstanding and misassociation regarding the Aikido Iloilo brand, please be guided by the following updated rules for practicing with organizations outside of Aikido Iloilo:
🟢 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗜𝗞𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
• 𝐍𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. You may practice with them as much as you like, wearing any keikogi you prefer.

You are free to practice with them, 𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐘:
❌ 𝐍𝐎 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆: You are PROHIBITED from wearing any keikogi with Aikido Iloilo branding (including Aikido Iloilo Logo Patches, Aikiwest Logo Patches, or future member org patches).
🥋 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐀𝐋: If you wish to use your issued keikogi at these non-associated clubs, you must remove all Aikido Iloilo/member logos and return the patches to us.
⚠️ 𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐈 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒: If you are a Kenshusei Student receiving free practice with us, but you pay to practice at non-associated organizations, your Kenshusei status will be 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃. You will subsequently be required to pay the full Aikido Iloilo Keiko Session Mat Fee.
